Arts in the Park
This year’s annual festival organized by The Friends of High School Park will be held June 4th from 10 am – 5 pm. Over the past 20 years our festival has highlighted the display and sale of work from over 50 juried artists and craftspeople. Each year the fair draws thousands of people from Elkins Park, Cheltenham Township and neighboring communities who enjoy a day in the park filled with eye catching arts and crafts, plant sales, children’s activities, delicious food, and live entertaining music from 10-5 the first Sunday of June.
The Friends of High School Park was established as a completely volunteer organization whose mission is to create, manage and preserve a viable native ecosystem in High School Park for the enjoyment of the community, in cooperation with Cheltenham Township. We are dedicated to inspiring the community to connect with others and the natural environment through service and learning within the park. In 1996, Arts in the Park was created to raise funds to carry out that mission.
